I have a Tourette Syndrome

“I have a Tourette syndrome. Most people don’t know about it. It’s a problem in the neurological system. People like me, we sometimes do things non-willingly, like I have a vocal tic. I was born with it and I’m really OK with it. But people always look at me weird, and believe me you don’t want to mess with me. One time, I was in a bus, and there were two 18-year-old girls. I understand, it’s weird when you hear it. So, they turned and looked at me once, looked at me twice, but then they started laughing. Eventually, I got up, walked to them and shouted: “It’s a fucking Tourette syndrome. It’s not funny!” And I left. Another time, I was sitting next to an old woman, and it was kind of the same story. She looked at me like I’m something weird. And when she looked at me once again, I just showed her my tongue. I encounter such things at least once a week. If it’s someone nice, I explain them my condition, but if they annoy me, I just make them feel very stupid.”
